What was the requirement?
We were contacted by our client to install security camera, alarm system and some home automation. Client is a busy professional and travels a lot. Client needed a system which can be controlled from a mobile phone from any part of the world. Furthermore, the client wanted a system to monitor the pet while on working from office. Working from home is an option for the client which means internet outages must be minimised. Not to mention that, worries in relation to privacy issue means we had to plan for network isolation. Finally, this setup is tied to Amazon™ Alexa© for easy voice commands.
